A complete log of every write action in your workspace.

12.1 What is Tracked

Every create, update, and delete action on catalog assets is recorded with: action type (e.g. create_item, update_item), resource type and ID, the user email who performed it, a JSON payload with field values, and an exact UTC timestamp. Logs are filterable by action and resource type and paginated up to 200 records per request.

12.2 How Audit Logs Help Governance

• Accountability: every change has a named actor and timestamp — no anonymous modifications.
• Regulatory compliance: demonstrate to auditors (SOX, GDPR, HIPAA) that changes to sensitive data assets are tracked.
• Incident investigation: the audit log tells you exactly who changed what and when.
